last week was interesting. the weathers been up and down in the city. i just want it to be summer already. been slipping into the edges of a depression, but trying to keep my feet on the ground. as kourtney kardashian said in the latest episode of kutwk season 20, "im only going to look at the big picture."

i went to the disney store in times square with nick & wiley last week. we all wanted to get nuiMOs, which are pose-able dolls of different disney characters. they can stand and even have magnets in their hands, so they can hold things!

they used to be exclusive at disney in japan. they were such a big hit that they brought them to the u.s market. i wish they sold the clothing and dolls they have in japan here. the u.s nuimos seem a bit more rough and ready. a few of the dolls were a bit botched. not all their heads were the same size and some of them had funky stitching around the neck seem.

i wanted to get angel (pink stitch) but they were sold out. i ended up getting piglet instead. when we were leaving the store, one of the sales associates said, "have fun with your little friends!"

j and i went on a food adventure this weekend. ive been on a barstool one bite pizza review kick. my therapist says that we try to master our trauma. for me, watching hours of videos of dave portnoy eating pizza is the way im processing things these days. he reminds me of the guys i hung out with when i was young that treated me like dirt. i hate the way he eats. with all that being said, i love his pizza reviews. i think the scores he gives are almost spot on. i haven't been eating that much pizza recently, but growing up in the city, i ate it almost every day. i even got an embarrassing pizza tattoo when i was 19. anyways, we saw this review of di farra's pizza in midwood and we had to try it out. 

here is the review: he gives it a 9.4 which is one of the highest scores in the history of his pizza reviews. i like the guy in the middle of the video, also the lady eating nuts. 

first, we had to go get bloody marys. ive been obsessed with wanting a bloody mary for the past month. i saw a tiktok that said its a trait of people with adhd to hyper-fixate on foods. anyone else with adhd relate? the bloody mary was pretty good. it had cheese in it, which im not sure how i feel about. 

it had a caperberry as a garnish which i had never tried before. i would give the caperberry an 8.3. would make a great snack. was pretty disappointed there was no pickle. the vision in my head of the bloody mary i wanted had a pickle. going to try making my own next weekend with pickles and celery.

there wasn't any place to sit and eat by di farra. we debated walking to brooklyn college to sit on the campus, but decided just to sit on the street.

the pizza was good. j and i debated if it was worthy of the 9.4 score. we agreed its a solid 9. equal in quality to our other favorite spot, l&b spumoni gardens. they liked the square slice better and i liked the triangle slice. overall, i would recommend.

i found some old webcam videos i made with my best friend in 2008. we used to hang out almost everyday. we would read seventeen magazine out loud to each other and do dress up photoshoots. we made lots of videos like this on my dad's imac. here are some of my favorites:

currently on the c train going to the dermatologist to give my blood sacrifice to the accutane gods, listening to fearless (taylor's version). im about to start my forth month on accutane. ive had acne my whole life, but its never been super serious. honestly, i was inspired by justin bieber and emma chamberlin, who have both taken accutane recently. i have a theory that accutane is young hollywood's magic skin pill. bella thorne was on accutane for TWO YEARS! this was recently, idk if any of u remember when she said lemon juice healed her skin. LIES! anyways im sure lots of celebrities have taken it, but dont quote me.

had a crazy dream last night. i was at the place i learned to horseback ride. it was a barn/riding arena in the middle of manhattan. the horses lived in the basement & on the second floor. they would go up and down ramps to get to the arena on the ground floor. the place closed in the 2010s.

anyways, in my dream, i was on the second floor looking sadly at how small the horses stalls were. i was with a group of people and i somehow escaped. i went on a floating middle floor that was an abandoned PAUL FRANK cafe. it was full of pick ur own candy bins. the contrast between the dirty barn and the bright paul frank signs was beautiful.

i got my second dose of the pfizer vaccine this weekend. they ran out of short needles at the hospital i went to so they had to use this massive one. they gave me animal crackers though. 

also this weekend saw the KAWS show at the brooklyn museum with wiley. the vinyl figures are way more beautiful in person than i expected. we also went to 5 below & micheals.

had some nice dates with j. we walked a mile to get the jojo siwa issue of people magazine. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!! i was expecting to see jojo siwa smiling at me from the cover, but it was BRAD PAISLEY!!!!

we went to the park and drank diet coke & read the jojo article.

here are some things i found interesting about the article: 

1. jojo's mom, jessalynn siwa refers to herself as jojo's "creative director" & "momager"

2. jessalynn dropped that she submitted their dance moms audition tape without telling jojo...

3. there was one part in the interview where jessalynn says that if jojo wanted to become a doctor, she could, but then quickly adds "oh my god, we spent so many years doing this" (referring to jojo's acting/dancing career)

ive been keeping up with jessalynn for a while now via her podcast, success with jess. in my opinion, she is 100% responsible for jojo's look. she designs and rhinestones all of jojo's outfits. she also decorates the house, which is never explicitly said but from watching all of her podcasts, its pretty clear that she does. hot take is that jojo is sick of it and just wants to wear black.
